Students should put in the social history and update the hospital course.

• On the S drive, please update your patient's signout.

• Press the triangle button near the top right of the screen to get to the history menu.
• You can add in the social history information in the social documentation section.
• You can pull in the social history with the .psysocdoc dot phrase.

• Please update in s drive.
• Hospital Courses are located on S:\managed\Psychiatric Services\ed materials\Hospital Course under your team color and Month.
• The resident can copy the hospital course into epic. The hospital course section is hidden above the problem list.
• Click the problem list tab and scroll up to reveal the hospital course section.

You do not need to include every prn and order. The hospital course needs to communicate the major events during the hospitalizations. This often includes consults, medical issues, and a general idea of patients response to medications. A risk assessment should also be included.
